Forestry Lodge

We stayed here for four nights with our two children and dog, and it was absolutely perfect! The owners had thought of every little thing and provided everything and more that we could need.

The lodge is beautifully decorated and cosy, with a fantastic hot tub and log burner. We were given great little extras such as a welcome basket and robes, even treats for the dog.

The woodland setting is great, with deer right by your door. We had some fabulous days out at Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park, Rufford Abbey, Sherwood Forest and Vicar Waters. Thank you so much for a wonderful, memorable break!

We have spent an amazing and chilled New Year break in this stunning lodge with our children and labrador and cannot rate it highly enough!!

The hard work, thought and personal touches that have gone into everything about Forestry Lodge is fantastic! From robes and slippers to heat pack teddies for the children there is nothing that hasn't been thought of.

Comfortable sofas and beds, all mod cons and accessories in the kitchen plus dog bowls and towels all there too not forgetting a lovely log burner to keep you cosy and a fab hot tub as well!

The lodge has a huge secure garden and a long driveway and decking area, which pretty sure you wouldn't find anywhere else! Thank you so much Michelle and Paul for having us!!! We cant wait to come back!!! xx
